MALAYSIA MY LUCKY CHARM

Recall from the last episode how I dropped out of BUK? Today's episode draws the curtain to my seven-weeks-old #GetInspired blog post. With all the struggles, I told myself that this is the last piece of the puzzle, ‘I cannot fail,’ I have to get this right. Since I decided to leave BUK singlehandedly, I cannot give room for any excuses considering the fact that, I am now pursuing something I like. I did Diploma and Advanced Diploma, and Alhamdulillah I graduated with flying colours in 2008.

To obtain a degree, I was seeking for admission all over the globe; in UK, Singapore and so many other countries as no Nigerian University (as at that time) accepts our Kazaure Diploma for “Advance Standing” or "Direct Entry". In the end, after a long delay with Visa and other formalities, I got admission in Malaysia, and in 2009; I travelled to Malaysia.

Ever since I got to Malaysia, the story had been impressive, from one success story to another ( I am making a separate blog post series on this). Malaysia (my second home) has been one of the greatest decisions of my life I would say. Since my arrival here, I have been a remarkable ambassador for my country, a dazzling star to many (Alhamdulillah, just the facts, not boasting or bragging). Everything I set my hands on becomes gold, and every decision I take turns out to be in my best interest. In my first semester, I got excellent grades (thanks to rigorous grilling I got in Kazaure, which made me see everything here as child's play). I was the best in my class. Alhamdulillah, for those following my blog weekly, they could clearly see the evolution and rapid escalation, from the last in primary/high school to the top spot in the university, it remained so till I completed my PhD. The result stands to be an excellent history till the end of my Degree program. I graduated with a First Class Degree, and I was given the scholarship to study for my Masters Degree with a bond to work for two years; which was renewed severally after completing the first two years with flying colours. Soon after, in 2013, another scholarship was secured for my PhD. The scholarship terms and conditions comes with a "paid" employment/bond of two years with the University, which happens to be my first professional job. The rest is history. Follow me next week, on my new blog post series titled "my PhD journey."
